In August 1922, the coasts of Coquimbo in Chile, witnessed the greatest maritime tragedy in the south east Pacific, about 500 people lost their lives among them, more than 100 children under 10 years old, were workers who traveled with their families to work in the saltpeter industry. This fact was completely ignored by the official history, until 2014 when we began to investigate and look for the wreck. This documentary film portrays the search efforts that were made for more than 5 years, and how they helped us discover new backgrounds that allowed us to find and shoot Itata more than 200m deep.
